Does anyone love sci-fi and fantasy?

 What would you do if you're walking down the street and bumped into your double?

Have I ever mentioned my love for Mitch Hedberg? It is deep and pure. If you haven't heard of him, he was a stand-up comedian, and he was really awesome. I first listened to this album in its entirety standing in a room in Germany last year when we were all supposed to be leaving and going somewhere else, and yet none of us could budge because then we might have missed a moment of the hilarity.

For instance:

"I went to a pizzeria, I ordered a slice of pizza, the fucker gave me the smallest slice possible. If the pizza was a pie chart for what people would do if they found a million dollars, the fucker gave me the "donate it to charity" slice. I would like to exchange this for the "keep it!""

And my life in a single joke:

"I sit at my hotel at night, I think of something that's funny, then I go get a pen and I write it down. Or if the pen's too far away, I have to convince myself that what I thought of ain't funny."

And many other hilarious things for which I will not spoil you. Mitch Hedberg is really all about the delivery -- even though a ton of his stuff is hilarious if you just see it written out, it is SO much more hilarious after you've heard his voice and you've got the intonation in your head. GUYS, I'm a goober. A huge goober. True story.

I've been listening to a lot of Rush this week because it plays into "Five Things Sam Winchester Carries With Him" (unless I change my mind, har har), and ever since I first saw this episode, God help me, without fail, every time I listen to "Tom Sawyer" this plays in my mind:

In other news, work on "Five Things" has picked up again, though I'm not sure I'll have it done by Thursday as planned. Oh well, I think I've landed firmly on the side of "I'd rather take my time and have it not suck balls", so if it takes me a little longer... it's no big.

After this morning's Joy of Neck and Shoulder Pain, it's sort of gotten progressively worse all day, to the point where I'm pretty sure I'm having a back spasm. I took some antiinflamatories and a migraine pill, which did pretty much nothing, so I upped the dose to two. (Two's the normal dose - I just usually take a half because two knocks me the fuck out. I'm always like, "I'm fine! I'm totally fine!" and then try to move and realize I can't. And then realize that I love THE WHOLE WORLD and just want to roll around and snuggle everyone.) dkjkaslf;. A+ when I have to pack and move this week.

Has anyone here ever read any books by Sue Grafton? I'm currently reading her 'P is for Peril' Novel, and so far it's pretty good, but as I understand it, she's writing one for every single letter of the alphabet, yeah? Are the others any good? Just curious, because if they have a good plot and are fun and interesting to read, that's twenty-six more books I can devour ;)

So, any opinions?
